The outgoing National Rally deputy is well ahead of Jocelyne Gizardin (Horizon, 22.32%) and Gabriel Blasco (New Popular Front, 17.49%). Daniel Pilaudeau (Workers’ Struggle) totals 1.51%.
A stronghold of the National Rally vote, Agde unsurprisingly brought the outgoing RN deputy Aurélien Lopez-Liguori to the top of the vote, credited with 58.68% of the votes. For comparison, he had totaled 37.58% of the votes in the first round of the 2022 legislative elections (with eleven candidates in the running), a jump of more than 20 points. A satisfaction for the Agathois elected representative of the National Rally, Fabienne Varesano, who calls herself " delighted, obviously. We knew that this election would be historic at the national level, it is just as historic at the local level."
Behind Aurélien Lopez-Liguori, the bloc of the presidential majority, represented by Jocelyne Gizardin, obtained 22.32% of the votes, ahead of Gabriel Blasco, with 17.49%. With 248 votes, or 1.51%, Daniel Pilaudeau achieves an anecdotal score.
