Ligue 1: Adams and Nordin return, Fayad and Jullien absent from the MHSC group to face Lyon
|Arnaud Nordin has been treating a thigh since his exit at the break against Lille (0-0) on January 28. Midi Libre – JEAN MICHEL MART
While there remained a doubt, MHSC coach Michel Der Zakarian removed it this Saturday, February 10, by retaining his attackers for the OL reception, Sunday (5:05 p.m.).
Montpellier is regaining strength. In search of a first success in Ligue 1 since December 17, the MHSC is gradually recovering players injured or who left for the African Cup of Nations. Among these, Akor Adams and Arnaud Nordin were selected in the Hérault group which hosts Olympique Lyonnjais on Sunday (5:05 p.m.).
Adams had been suffering from back pain for several matches, while Nordin was treating a new thigh injury, suffered against Lille (0-0), two weeks ago. If Michel Der Zakarian had maintained a slight suspense for the first, he finally called the two to face OL.
To these returns are added as expected those of Africans. After the Guinean Issiaga Sylla, on the scoresheet against Nice on Wednesday in the Cup (1-4), the Malians "Kiki" Kouyaté and Falaye Sacko also return to the Hérault ranks after more than a month at the CAN. The ranks before their place ?
Mincarelli rather than Sainte-Luce, Lyon almost complete
The possibility is strong, especially since Christopher Jullien is out. Feared on Friday for a problem with an "arch of the foot", this absence is confirmed. And could offer Kouyaté a return to the Hérault hinge. While uncertainty dominates on the right, with three pistons for one position (Sacko, Hefti, Tchato).
Khalil Fayad, who recently complained about a foot, is also out. Moreover, Lucas Mincarelli was preferred to Théo Sainte -Luce in an alternation of the left pistons which is taking shape. While the young Junior Ndiaye, who made his senior debut on Wednesday, and Axel Guéguin were not called up.
All that remains for the MHSC now is to recover Dimitry Bertaud, who is competing for third place in the CAN with the DR Congo this Saturday, and Mousa Tamari, in the final of the Coupe d' ;Asia.
Lyon, boosted by an expensive winter transfer window, for its part only deplores the absences of Henrique and Lepenant, spared or in the recovery phase. OL should thus present an almost complete group. And should see one of his seven recruits, Saïd Benrahma, debut in his colors this Sunday.
