Music festival in Béziers: all the places to enjoy the evening

An eclectic program is rolling out across the city of Béziers this Friday, June 21, in the evening. Here are the highlights.

This Friday, June 21, is the music festival. The City of Béziers joins this popular event by mainly programming artists from Biterrois.
From 6 p.m., ten stages, spread across nine locations in the city, from the Plateau des Poètes to Place de la Madeleine, will host various musical events. Depending on your tastes, all you have to do is move around. Follow the guide.

1 Very festive atmosphere with the banda Mescladis

At the bottom of Les Allées, the party will start at 7 p.m. with the flagship band of Béziers, present at all events: the Mescladis. They will be accompanied by their cadets, the Mesclakid’s, French banda champions in 2022 and 2023 at the Condom festival, as well as the band in Béziers, a Brazilian percussion collective. A guest of honor will also be present, Kenji Girac's regular guitarist, Kema Baliardo, grandson of the famous Manitas de Plata. He will host the stage from 9 p.m.

2 Electro evening on Place Jean-Jaurès

Place Jean-Jaurès will take on the appearance of an electronic music festival. From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., two DJs selected by the municipality will liven up the stage. They will be followed by their peers Florian Sivet, Mave, Laurent Pepper and Charles J who will heat up the dancefloor until 1 a.m.

3 Young talents revealed on the town hall square

The revelation scene, which will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., will see five young talents, selected by the municipality, compete. Each will perform two songs and will be evaluated by a jury of professionals. Immediately afterwards, the Lena Vassiliu trio will take over until 10 p.m., with a cover of jazz and swing songs. He will be accompanied by Just Swingin’, a collective of swing dancers.

4 The concert of the Lyre Biterroise

The Plateau des Poètes will host the Lyre Biterroise concert which will begin at 9:30 p.m. He will be preceded, at 8 p.m., by the brass ensemble of the Béziers Méditerranée conservatory, and at 8 p.m.  45, by the clarinet ensemble of the same conservatory. As a prelude, at 7 p.m., the Arcs en scène will open the evening.
