En ce vendredi 14 juin, le ciel a retenu la pluie pour permettre aux deux groupes de célébrer 30 ans de scène. Pour le plus grand bonheur d’un public qui a fait vibrer les arènes de Nîmes.

Mathias Malzieu had a mission when he took the arena stage: to ward off fate in this city where, four months earlier, almost to the day, he had “double broken his leg.” ;. Arriving in a wheelchair, decked out in a giant sculpture that looks like Groot, he quickly contaminated the ancient enclosure with all the energy that characterizes Dionysus.

"Are you ready ?"

Good rock, which sounds and makes you want to shake your head to the rhythm. Even if we can regret that a better sound setting could not be found, creating both saturation and sometimes attacked eardrums, the essential thing is not ;rsquo;wasn't there. "Could we have the biggest scream in the 30-year history of Dionysus and Shaka Ponk ?", launched Mathias Malzieu into a roaring arena while, at the same time, the sound management stretched out tarpaulins facing an increasingly threatening sky… "C& rsquo;is the moment I dreamed of singing in Paloma if everyone jumps at the same time, the arenas will shake!" 30 years of career& hellip;

And, in the rearview mirror, in the heart of its arenas, a concert opening, 20 years ago for a certain British group :"We We are proud to open 20 years ago for Muse, and proud to open today for our friends at Shaka Ponk". All followed by the heady B Song for Jedi, concluding an hour of such galvanizing electric energy (and what can we say about the touching tribute to this dyslexic manager Olivier Vallon).

"I love you my love"

And as the rain had decided to temper its ardor, the few drops and the ambient humidity could only fade away in the face of the overexcited atmosphere which erupted ;rsquo;is filled with packed arenas at the sight of little monkeys."I have a quick question to ask you, but I think I already know the answer… Are you fucking ready ?"

Ready, the audience was certainly ready to welcome Frah (already) throwing himself into the crowd. To swoon over Sam, even when she " doesn’not like people" and to roar and jump with pleasure en "wanna get free". Multiple "Puta madre" in one provocative but predictable "Fuck corrida", speeches in "today’today in this country, to be different, it's the best chance, above all remains one sentence from Frah to sum up the evening: &amp ;quot;I love you my love.

Guarantee that this farewell tour will not be the last. Because, definitely, Shaka Ponk, what a sound of puta madre!
