On strike, Millau firefighters demand more resources

An inter-union requires more human resources and hiring. 

Banners on the roundabouts of Saint-Germain and Bellugues, inscriptions on intervention vehicles… The union organizations of the rescue and emergency center# Millau fire brigade have been on strike since this Thursday, February 22 in the morning. 

On the menu of demands, the lack of staff and the "unkept promises" du  departmental risk analysis and coverage plan (Sdacr) which according to Force Ouvrière focuses efforts on "volunteers at the end of their tether."  

Developed by the prefects, this tool should make it possible to adjust the management of the service according to the needs of the population. "A population which is increasing without any hiring among the firefighters", is pursuing the power station, for which the Sdacr weighs dangerously on the shoulders of volunteering which is already struggling to renew itself. 

Requisitioned, the firefighters will still carry out the day's interventions, the strikers taking turns in periods of one hour.
