Open Sud de France: Harold Mayot mercilessly for Benoît Paire swept away in two sets

End of the tournament for the Avignon player who did not resist for long against Messin's Harold Mayot who won in two sets (6-1, 6-4).

Harold Mayot continues his journey in this Open Sud de France. Messin easily won against Benoît Paire. "He had a great match, he was solid", soberly recognized the Avignonais after his defeat. "It'it'was hard for me, my feet were bloody and my tendons hurt", did- it also explained.

Mayot break entrance

In a little over an hour (1h11), the young Moselle native put an end to the course of Paire who had nevertheless won in the previous round against Andy Murray. Led 3-0 from the start of the match Paire quickly ceded the first set to his opponent. 

But the Vauclusien did not intend to leave the tournament so quickly, so he tried to regain the upper hand in the second round despite an entry break. Unfortunately for him, Harold Mayot was superior and therefore continued his path in the competition
