Rugby Union: RC Sète finds the way and finally launches its start to the season

RC Sète's first two performances raised questions, a large part of the answer came this Sunday at home. If they had not yet found the way to the in-goal area since the restart, the Sète team corrected the shot from the start of the game with a try from Wolff which concluded a strong offensive period (7-0, 4th).

They defended well, they advanced in the scrum and good touches were found. But too many fouls and dropped balls prevented the locals from hoping for anything better than a ten-point lead at half-time (10-0).

Dominant forwards

Back from the locker room, the Sète team pulled the same stunt as forty minutes earlier. After winning the scrum, Droitecour chose to play and Wolff finished strong between the posts (17-0, 45th). And after another strike from the excellent Alfaroli, the Sète team once again invested the 22-metre line, for Wolff's hat-trick (22-0, 51st). Everything was going wonderfully and the forward pack dominated its subject, like this advance to the in-goal area for a penalty try (29-0, 58th).

Alas, the Islois showed pride at the end of the match with Sastre who pierced the back lines (29-7) then Laranjeiro who concluded a long installation in the Sète camp (29-14, 75th). But the essential was done, RC Sète found its colors again.
