School transport in Gard: registrations open this Monday June 10 for the 2024/2025 school year

Le réseau liO, géré par la Région Occitanie, ouvre ce lundi 10 juin les inscriptions en ligne à destination des élèves empruntant ses bus pour la prochaine année scolaire.

This Monday, June 10, the liO school transport network, managed by the Occitanie Region, opens its online registrations for the 2024-2025 school year. Families who use this mode of transport for their children's journeys to schools (from kindergarten to high school) are invited to register online (www.lio-occitanie.fr). Beyond July 31, the Region imposes an exceptional flat-rate contribution of 25 euros; for "late registration".

Not all affected

Attention: students who live and attend school in large urban areas are not affected by the liO network. This concerns the municipalities of Alès Agglo, Nîmes Métropole, the urban communities of Gard Rhodanien and Grand Avignon. Families of the latter are invited to register directly on the websites of their communities.

For example, the Alesian network Ales’y, which takes care of school transport in the Cévennes conurbation, opens its own online registrations on June 17 (www .alesy.fr). Unlike the liO network, which is free for children as part of school transport, it costs between 72 and 77 € per year and per child for registration on the Alésien network.
