Ten places still available for free eco-driving training with the Lozérien Mobility Agency

The Lozère Mobility Agency runs eco-driving training sessions as part of the 2023 participatory budget of the city of Mende.

As part of the 2023 participatory budget of the city of Mende, the Lozère Mobility Agency is hosting, in spring 2024, free eco-driving training sessions for inhabitants of the commune.

Following a first call for participants between September and November 2023, around twenty people registered. Two first sessions were held on March 20 and 26, for six participants. Places remain available for the following ones which will take place on Tuesday 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Thursday 18, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday April 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Saturday 4 and Friday 17 May, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Place du Foirail, in Mende.

The conditions to be met to follow the training

To follow the eco-driving training, you simply need to fulfill the following conditions: reside in the town of Mende, be at least 18 years old, be holder of a valid B license, have the ability to drive a light vehicle with a manual gearbox without specific equipment and understand French.

Ten places are available and will be allocated in order of arrival of registrations.

Eco-driving is a fuel-efficient, ecological and economical driving technique. The fundamental rules: change gears at low engine speed, maintain a stable speed, anticipate traffic, maintain your vehicle properly.
