The 400 participants of the Trail des Lucioles lit up the night

The participants, equipped with headlamps, ran into the night.

Organized by the Tri Run club of Frontignan, the Lucioles trail took place on Saturday March 2, after dark, in Gardiole. The event brought together 400 athletes, the maximum number that the club had set for optimal organization.

The runners returned delighted and warmly thanked the volunteers for supervising the event. "It was just great one of them commented. Thank you for the atmosphere, thank you to the volunteers dressed as fireflies in the scrubland and thank you for their encouragement.

The weather, although a little windy and cool, spared the event and the provisioning on arrival with the brasucade prepared by ô Huîtres delighted the taste buds.

The final podium is as follows

4 km solo woman: Déborah Roche in 1'13'20, man: Gaillard Tommy in 58'18.

14 km mixed duo: Pascal Rivet and Élise Fourni in 1'07'´15.

7 km woman: Linda Siaghi in 35'12; man: Emmanuel Salas in 26'31.

7 km Nordic walking woman: Marjory Philit Ravanel in 53'52; man: Éric Godefroy in 50’24.
