“We will come back”: covered radars, targeted buildings… new actions by angry farmers last night in Hérault

Dans la nuit de lundi à ce mardi 27, de multiples actions ont été menées dans le département par une quarantaine d'agriculteurs en colère répartis en plusieurs équipes.

Claimed by Rural Coordination 34 and independents, new actions targeted radars which were covered in Montpellier, Béziers, Vias and Mèze. MSA and Crédit Agricole buildings were also targeted in Béziers and Montpellier. In the Hérault prefecture, France Agrimer was targeted by demonstrators who wrote their slogans on packaging films hung in front of the entrance to the buildings, warning ;: "We'll be back". 

Rates that have soared

Tires and vine stumps were also dumped in front of France Agrimer in Montpellier. While the mobilization remains strong in their ranks, the angry farmers are thus ensuring, in particular, to express their discontent at "the delay in payment of premiums planting. Because of this, we are forced to take out cash loans to be able to turn around and compensate for these non-payments, with interest rates which have soared , indicates a source from the collective. Concerning the radars, "it's the same, the State doesn't pay us, so we make sure that it doesn't get paid no more…"
