We knew him in better shape. Serbian player Novak Djokovic has been worrying his fans for several days as videos of him in a bad state spread across social networks.

After a defeat in semi-final at the’ATP 250Friday, the player is preparing for Roland-Garros and is worried about pain which prevents him from having fun on the courts.

On social networks, a video of the player showing him shaking, drinking water, worries Djoko's fans. Furthermore, during a match this week, he called his physiotherapist for wrist pain, reports Le Parisien.

And while many fans expressed their support on social networks, others were more bitter, pointing in particular to previous controversies. At the top of the list, the fact that the player refused to be vaccinated in the middle of a pandemic, which cost him his place at at the Australian Open.

Painful matches

After his defeat on Friday against Czech player Tomas Machac, he explained that he felt very bad during the match: "I don't feel didn't feel very good. I suffered a lot from my stomach. I had pain last night and it wasn't any better today. I don't want to take any credit away from Tomas for this victory. He deserves it. "The priority is that I feel better", notes the player, who admits his concern about his health. "I haven't played well at all this season. Just a few bits of matches here and there. But you have to know how to accept it. I don't consider myself a favorite at Roland Garros."

Because for the moment, laments Novak Djokovic, "I'm not taking any pleasure, it’s just suffering on the court".
