Vous avez vécu un match particulier. Buteur, ouvreur après vingt minutes…

When we play at the hinge, in any case, we are exposed. It was my first match in 10. I'm discovering. I tried to adapt as best as possible. There are quite a few failures that cost us dearly.

Why did you take charge of the goal, to the detriment of the usual kicker Louis Carbonel ?

We discussed it among ourselves. Louis (Carbonel) was less well and I didn't mind helping out. I have had failures. I was disturbed by the wind, I typed badly. I take responsibility for it. It happens to all scorers. Today was a day without.

You attempt the drop at the very end of the match in a slightly confusing situation. How are you experiencing this moment ?

We wanted to keep the ball up close to make Castres make mistakes. But we are not at all efficient. There are two of us going on the hour. I don't see how we can put them in danger. The ball comes out a little, I see that we are pounding for nothing, and I take responsibility for trying to drop it. This is the first time I was in a situation like this. That didn’t smile on me.

Generally speaking, how did you experience the match??

There were two times. A strong entry point in which we are dominant, we are efficient and we feed off Castres' mistakes. Afterwards, we died down a bit. In the end, we are the ones who lose. I miss a lot of kicking opportunities, so…hellip;

Our heads have had to be taken care of for a year. We are in a situation where all the matches that are played to one point, it is us who lose them. Is it mental, physical, tactical…hellip? There are surely several explanations. But I think the mental part is preponderant.

However, the state of mind is there.

If we don't play aggressive and survive, we haven't understood anything. The state of mind is the minimum. But when it comes to achieving our highlights, we are not there.

The dam, do you think about it ?

It would be a lie to say no. Since the start of the season, we have been in the last three places. There can always be a miracle but everyone knows it's a possibility. We will be ready. You just have to be realistic.

It’s hard to say, hard to live with. But this is where we will come together again, where we will draw on the individual qualities of each person, whether mental or physical. We must take everything that can pull us up.
