“Money has never really interested me”: with 3,000 euros, Thierry Pastor finds his retirement “very comfortable”

Ce vendredi 15 mars 2024, Thierry Pastor a évoqué, sur le plateau de l'émission "Chez Jordan", le montant de sa retraite qu'il trouve très satisfaisant.

This Friday March 15, Thierry Pastor, known for his hit hit "Coup de Folie" released in 1981, was invited on the set of the show "Chez Jordan" where he did not escape the traditional question on his retirement, reports Here. His hit earned him around 250,000 euros. 

A "huge” amount

While many do not hide their dissatisfaction with the amount of their pension, Thierry Pastor revealed that he receives a very comfortable retirement. "I know that artists are in trouble. I contributed enough to have a, let's say, decent retirement. That means that tomorrow, if I have to change my fridge, I can buy it!", he confided, confirming touch around 3,000 euros.

Before adding: "I could live on 800 euros per month, I have no requirements' ;nbsp;! As long as I can pay for my water and electricity, life is good. I have my piano… It's not much but people live well on 800 euros and others live on 3000 euros and can't do it! We know it! Money has never really interested me." He even specified that the amount was "huge".

Now aged 64, the artist continues his career by participating in tours for nostalgic audiences.
