Le Comité olympique a dévoilé le nom des 18 porteurs de la flamme olympique lors de son passage à Millau.

On May 13, there will be 18 of them carrying the Olympic flame as it passes through Millau. If several names such as Danaé Gleye, Pauline Delavergne or even Thomas Richard and Natacha Burg had been revealed, the others were not officially known. The Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games revealed the complete list of carriers upon its arrival in the city of the glove. Its passage is scheduled from 8:40 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., departing from the Sports Park with an arrival at Madarous.

Events from 4 p.m. on Place du Mandarous

Once it has completed its entire journey, several activities are planned on the Mandarous, where a special stage will be installed. From 4 p.m., a giant screen will broadcast the most beautiful images of the day. From 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., local schools will take to the stage to perform several shows, a demonstration of the SOM hirondelle is also on the program and this moment will end with a sports show. From 7:30 p.m., Boulevard de Bonald will come alive with bodegas and music before the "Great fire show", on the Mandarous stage, at 9:30 p.m.

Several roads closed

For this day, 2 500 children are expected to experience this moment and the city's traffic plan will be adapted. Traffic will be prohibited on the RD 809 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., from Boulevard de l’Ayrolle to Avenue Jean-Jaurès from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and around Mandarous from 6 a.m. to midnight. It is advisable to travel by bike or on foot to approach the circuit of the flame as it passes.
