The Minister of the Interior is demanding an administrative report, after the president of the RN, campaigning for Europeans, was received by a CRS company from Saint-Laurent-du-Var.

The Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, requested an administrative report the day after the reception of the president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella, by the CRS of Saint-Laurent-du-Var.

While campaigning in the Alpes-Maritimes as part of the European elections, Mr. Bardella was presented with the CRS-6 company medal by company commander Marc Costes. A scene filmed and broadcast on X by RN deputy Bryan Masson. "I collect police medals", confides the RN MEP, who warmly thanks his interlocutor.

According to information published by RMC, Gérald Darmanin would be very "unhappy" with the police initiative. Franceinfo reveals that the CRS requested the agreement of the prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes for this visit of their company, agreement which would have been given "without reservation".< /em> But Hugues Moutouh – the former prefect of Hérault – should have demanded "at a minimum an absence of communication on social networks and no remittance medal", according to a source at the Ministry of the Interior.

Bryan Masson defended his president, mentioning "a medal which tells the history of the company, offered to passing personalities. The left-wing hysterics who are hysterical about this affair obviously have a problem with the police. Several personalities have in fact denounced "a manifest breach of the principles of neutrality and impartiality which relate to the status of civil servant holding authority", for example estimated the PS mayor of Montpellier Michaël Delafosse, demanding, with supporting legal texts, "sanctions".
