Two women seriously injured following a terrible accident between two motorcycles and a car at the entrance to Montpellier

La collision a eu lieu ce jeudi 28 mars, aux alentours de 9 heures du matin, au niveau du rond-point du Rieucoulon, aux portes de Montpellier.

Hérault firefighters intervened urgently this Thursday, March 28, around 9 a.m., in the town of Saint-Jean-de- Vedas, following a terrible traffic accident.

Arriving at the Rieucoulon roundabout, they took care of two bikers who had fallen heavily to the ground following a collision with a car.

Admitted to intensive care

In this case, a woman aged 40, unconscious and in cardio-ventilatory arrest, as well as a pilot, aged 22, conscious but multiple traumatized.< /p>

They were both evacuated in absolute emergency to the Lapeyronie hospital center where they were admitted to intensive care (Dar A).

Investigation in progress

For his part, the driver of the car, extremely shocked, was examined and then left there. An investigation, carried out by the gendarmes of the local brigade, is underway to determine the exact circumstances of this accident.

Note that traffic was heavily impacted in the area following this collision.
